Quinney Electric, Inc.

Quinney Electric, Incorporated is a family owned and operated business founded October 1979 by Floyd A. Quinney. With the help of his family, Floyd established the strong foundation of integrity and professionalism upon which Quinney Electric, Inc. was built.

Quinney Electric continues to build on this foundation by following the philosophy established by Floyd A. Quinney.

Quinney Electric prides itself on following the 'Do it right' philosophy established by its founder. Quinney Electric has become a trusted leader in electrical contracting.

Mr. Lloyd L. Quinney is the president of Quinney Electric. He has been actively involved in the business from its beginning when his father, Floyd, decided to start his own company. He holds a Master Electrician's License in San Antonio, Texas. He has numerous other licenses in Texas.

Lloyd has over twenty years experience in the electrical industry. His expertise is in: project management; design build; contract management; and industrial, commercial, and residential projects.

Lloyd is a Past President of The Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. of Texas. Lloyd is an active member of the Independent Electrical Contractors of America. He serves on their Apprenticeship and Training Committee. He also serves on the MacArthur Electrical Systems Technology Advisory Board. Since 1990, Lloyd has been on the National Board of Directors for the Independent Electrical Contractors of America. He is a former Board Member of the Builder Exchange of Texas. Lloyd is a former President of the Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. of San Antonio, a position he held for nine years.

Lloyd is ex-officio on the Quinney Electric Safety Committee.

Lloyd is a member of the Harlandale Lions Club and the San Antonio Southside Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Del W. Quinney is the Vice President of Quinney Electric. He has been actively involved in the business from the beginning, when his father, Floyd, decided to start his own company.

Del is involved in all aspects of company projects. His expertise is evident in the coordination and completion of projects. He has vast experience in many phases of the electrical industry, including industrial, commercial, and residential.

Del has been in the electrical industry for over twenty years He is actively involved with the CYO, Pop Warner, and Club VolleyBall.

Mr. Brian J. Ray is the Corporate Secretary and Chief Estimator for Quinney Electric.

Brian has been with the company since October 1990.
Brian oversees all estimating and assists in all aspects of project management.

He is an active member of CYO, Pop Warner, and several youth organizations.

Mr. Jim Ramos is the Regional Manager for the area west of San Antonio. He is based at Quinney Electric #2, in Del Rio, Texas. Jim has over fifteen years electrical experience in industrial, commercial, and residential applications.

Jim received his education in the electrical field at St. Phillip's College in San Antonio. He represents Quinney Electric at the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce and the Val Verde Builder's Association. Jim is a former chairman of the Quinney Electric Safety Committee and now promotes safety awareness in our Del Rio office.

Jim is an active member of the San Felipe Lions Club. With a background in cattle and ranching, his interests include rodeo, horses, and hunting.

Ms. Donna Quinney is the Service Department Manager. She has twenty years experience in public relations.

Donna is responsible for handling all service calls and work orders. She is also in charge of inventory, billing, and accounts payable data entry.

Benny Ray McKinney (Ray) has over forty-five years experience in the electrical industry. His experiences span industrial, commercial, residential, and housing projects.

Ray holds an Electrical Master License in the cities of San Antonio, Austin, Beeville, Copperas Cove, Killeen, New Braunfels, San Marcos, and Seguin, Texas. He also holds a Master Electrical License for the State of Georgia.

Ray is involved in estimating, project bidding, overseeing electrical installations, and purchasing for his projects.

Mr. Alvin D. "Dwayne" Casey started with Quinney Electric, Inc in 1988 as an apprentice with the Independent Electrical Contractors of San Antonio Apprenticeship and Training program.

He is now a field superintendent for the company. Dwayne enjoys softball, auto racing, and motor cycling.
